Picture Window - Ballina .
This west-facing sun-trap sits directly outside of a 4m picture window, so we wanted to create a picture-perfect view for our clients to look out on.
It’s a soft and airy flower filled courtyard with gentle textures and crisp structured edges. We planted fragrant roses, Magnolia stellata, Salvia, Nepeta, Hydrangea, Alliums, grasses, Euphorbia, a low Euonymus japonicus green spire hedge, and clipped balls of Prunus laur. Sofia.
There’s a warm 10mm gravel path running through the space, edged with cor-ten ever edge steel, leading to a circular seating area that’s in a prime location to catch the evening sun.
